For South American coffee, Colombia Kachalu has a surprisingly strong, spicy-earthy character. Its complex aroma hides undertones of caramel and chocolate, rounded off by a sweet hint of fruit.

In 1999, 14 farmers joined together in an association named Kachalu, which means hope. They are aware of the importance of rainforest and clean environment, so they grow organic coffee. This preserves excellent living conditions for plants and animals, clean environment and unpolluted waters. At the same time, they manage to grow excellent coffee with full flavor.
