Indian robusta grows at over 1000m above sea level, in the shade of other trees. India is one of the few producers of robusta of sufficient quality to be drunk as pure espresso. High quality is ensured by growing robusta with the same care as arabica, especially focusing on bean quality and careful picking and sorting.
