Fruity and floral tones prevail, distinct acidity and honey aroma. In taste it is soft, medium full and sweeter. Reminds of ripe tropical fruit taste.

It grows on volcanic slopes of Costa Rica, at over 1500m above sea level. After picking, coffee is processed so that skin and pulp are removed, while remaining mucilage is left on the bean. This is sticky similar to honey, which is why the method got the name "honey process". Red honey tells us that the coffee was dried in shade for about two weeks and thus got a slight reddish color.
